Young Voices 2019

17th January 2019

27 children from St Joseph's School Choir travelled to the Genting Arena in Birmingham to take part in Young Voices 2019.  Over 6,500 children from schools across the country joined to sing together as a mass choir in front of a packed arena.  Many of our parents went along to support the choir and were amazed by the spectacle.  A surprise treat on the day was the arrival on stage of special guest Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet front man) who sang 'Gold' with the choir.  Despite being a very long day (and VERY late night!) the children had a fantastic time and many have said this will be a memory that lasts a very long time.  We would like to extend our thanks to Mrs Helen Page (Music Co-ordinator) for all her hard work preparing the children for the concert and leading the trip.
St Joseph's School are proud to champion Math's Mastery through out the school. Please see the attached explanation of our whole school approach.
